A Parade of Horribles - Matt Dinniman (2026) I don’t know if I’ve talked about Dungeon Crawler Carl on here yet but yes, I have been indoctrinated and it may be my favorite series of all time. The audiobooks are incredible and exceed the hype
Lost in the Dark and Other Excursions - John Langan (2025) Absolutely no one does it like Langan. Incredible collection, especially the title story
Midnight Somewhere - Johnny Compton (2025) I really like Compton but this collection was hit and miss for me. I did the audiobook so I wonder if I would have liked it better if I had read it
The Rack - 2024 LOVED the idea behind this collection, it was a blast. They came out with a sequel last year as well I believe
Wonderful news to wake up to. We just got to Brisbane yesterday after a 10/10 trip to Sydney. We saw State of Origin 1 after buying tickets with zero knowledge of the event and my god it ruled

We all know what we were doing summer 2020. Korean baseball was fun, but i had no connection. I had a casual interest in the Dash as a Houston team. So when they played in the Challenge Cup, I watched every minute of it. And they won.
Cold Storage - David Koepp (2019) Nothing I love more than a hoot. Joe Keery may be perfect casting as Teacake, I can’t wait to watch the movie. Very fun science heavy horror
The Buffalo Hunter Hunter- Stephen Graham Jones (2025) I am admittedly biased due to SGJ being a Red Raider but this is a top 3 all time book for me. Immaculate. Perfect in craft and purpose. I think it’s his best book
Grimoire of the Four Impostors - Coy Hall (2021) 16th century horror short stories. I discovered Hall through a folk horror anthology and adored this short story collection. He should write more!
