Pizza has been eaten, the garden has been watered, and I'm sitting on the deck with my lovely Wife and a Scotch on the rocks. Tis a good evening!

For the last couple years I have had a digger bee colony in the same spot. Amazing to watch them and they're great for pollinating the garden.
I started using this soil last year in the garden and it's amazing! Made in Nova Scotia! Tomatoes love it!
Baby back ribs smoked for 4 1/2 hours over Applewood. Coated in homemade chipotle pepper sauce mixed with maple syrup my Son made from our maple trees. Sweet and spicy goodness!

Well that was a bit of alright! Steak and salad on a hot night. Can't go wrong with a reverse sear on an Egg!
On they go. Set up for reverse sear. Bring them to 120° up top over the heat deflector at 300°, then crank it up to 600 ° and drop them down to sear over the coals. Seasoned with smoked Malden salt and cracked pepper. Finish them with blue cheese!
Time to season these beauties and get them up to room temperature. Egg is lit! The Yum Yums are blasting on the stereo and cold refreshing adult beverage in hand!

Ok, so Lime Posset over graham cracker crumbs is a quick and easy dessert that tastes exactly like Key Lime Pie. It only takes 20 minutes!!!

My Son's, did me proud on the weekend. What great presents! They know I love single malt Scotch and rarely splurge on it for myself.
Tomatoes are coming fast now! Not bad for the weather we've had.
