Lol. When the vet tries to suggest a pill for our beautiful, sweet, fuzzy 16 y/o tuxedo cat, I remind him that her chart is marked as “impossible to pill” and to stop his shite and get a syringe because she turns into a wild howling struggling biting ball of fur when she sees one.

I absolutely feel your pain. Our 16 y/o cat Memory will only eat her canned wet food if you give her a different flavor and brand every day because otherwise she will despise today what she loved yesterday. I don’t make the rules, just live by them.

#Hedgewatch was canceled today due to severe flooding. We live in an elevated house on the river so it’s expected. This time it’s a severe flood, so we’re confined to the deck. Only way out is by boat. Memory is watching the squirrel who’s sheltering on the deck.
This makes my heart melt. My elderly cat wants me to head butt her and pet and scratch her for 10 minutes whenever we arrive back at home. I enjoy this interaction with her.
Can confirm also works with cats. If this fluffy little elderly tuxedo cat does not like you, then we’re not friends.
