#dramasupportchallenge number 3 eunuch. I’m going to go for Hyung-sun from moon embracing the sun. Tbh this show hasn’t aged great but his performance is really cute what’s funny is this actor has played some pretty horrible villians so it’s weird to think of him here where he’s adorable.

#dramasupportchallenge day 2 medical professional I know I’m really behind here but I’m going to go for Na Dae-Ryong from dream life of mr Kim. He was funny, effective and clearly had his own issues like most medical professionals.

#dramasupportchallenge I’m going to go for Lim Whi from when the weather is fine. Never has the life of a cringe teenage girl been so accurately portrayed. I found her hilarious throughout this show and even though her role was small she shone throughout.

Day 6 family when life gives you tangerines just the family dynamics in the show were joyful and heartbreaking I love it so much but also just because of the weekend I love the Coveys from to all the boys I’ve loved before and Xo Kitty. #chinguchallenge

Day 5 villian Sun-a from devil judge. I thought a lot about what makes a good villian and I think for me it comes down to how much fun they are to watch and watching Sun-a control all the assholes around her is wondrous to behold. #chinguchallenge

Ok so I’ve decided to do a Korean recast of first wives club. I think Na Young-Hee for the Bette Midler Part. Oh Na-Ra for the Golfie Hawn Part and Yeon Hye-Ran for the Diane Keaton role . If nothing else this could be a comedy powerhouse. All these women are just so funny.

Ok thread on all the taxi driver 3 arcs first of Japan. I don’t think the Japan setting was all that interesting and I thought the main bad guy here wasn’t compelling. Lee Je Hoon was funny as an apprentice yakuza and this outfit is iconic

Day 26: Most disappointing drama of 2025. #EYDC2025 I’m going to put genie make a wish here. I mean the production values here are insane, the actors are great even the script does have sparks of brilliance but this thing was just a mess also there was no bromance in the Kim Eun Sook show. Come on

Day 25: Sweetest romance of 2025. #EYDC2025 Seo Mun-Ju and Paik San-Ho from tempest. Sweetest is probably not quite the right modifier here but I love an epic love story and these two were so epic and hot. Sweetest would probably be Ae-Sun and Gwan-Sik from when life gives you tangerines.

Day 19: A drama that made you laugh. #EYDC2025 I really like potato lab. I thought it was really fun in a lot of ways it’s a bit of a throwback and I love it’s unashamed wackiness. Shout out to when the stars gossip which was unintentionally funny to me.

Day 17: Best actor of 2025. #EYDC2025 I’m going to go for Ryu Seung-Ryong for dream life of Mr Kim. I suspect he’ll get a ton of awards for this performance but it is amazing how well he did here. To make Kim Nak Su likeable but also hateable. Just such a three dimensional character

Day 16: Best actress of 2025. #EYDC2025 I’m going to go for Kim Go Eun from price of confession. This is just such a good performance. It’s just so quietly chilling but a lot of emotion bubbling beneath the surface. I also really liked IU from when life gives you tangerines.

Day 15: Favourite drama poster of 2025. #EYDC2025 I do love the classic movie poster vibes of tempest.

Day 9: Did you watch older dramas in 2025? #EYDC2025 so the oldest dramas I watched this year were Iris and You’re Beautiful both from 2009 both fun in their own ways but both defo have their yikes moments. Iris very much feels like a precursor to Tempest in a lot of ways.

Secondly also Newtopia is Sam Soo played by Tang Jun Sang who is an actor every time I see him I think he should be doing better. He’s really funny but also brings a lot of heart to this show also he has great chemistry with Jisoo way more than the male lead but that’s another rant.

Day 8: Standout secondary character of 2025. #EYDC2025 I’m going to go for Aaron Park played by Kim Jun Han if there’s a reason to watch Newtopia it’s him. He just masters the tone of zombie horror meets Wes Anderson that the script was going for. He should have been the main character

Day 7: Your favourite character of 2025. #EYDC2025 my fave character is Oh Yi Young played by Go Youn Jung from resident playbook. I love her and her little pouty face. She’s really funny but deep down cares a lot. Does this have anything to do with the fact that Go Youn Jung is my bias? Maybe?

So I found this list of worst kdramas on Netflix by the Mary Sue and I really don’t get her opinion on tale of the nine tailed. Was there anyone who criticised TotNL for this? I saw people criticising it for being dull but not enough gumiho lore is a weird one to me.
