D+4 generic state leg ballot right now, but hard to read much into it
Wow, this poll really is exactly what Barnes needed for his narrative, it's a really good counter to concerns about his 2022 loss
Admittedly, not great for Hong. This is exactly what Barnes needed; he can say at the debate that he's the only one polling ahead of Tiffany. Personally, I don't read much into any GE poll with so many undecideds, but you'd rather be up than down in any case.
These second choice numbers are death for Roys. I'm interested to see how she responds
Wow, Hong up 11 over Barnes is pretty impressive, better than I'd hoped
Yeah, especially since Lamine Yamal looks like the Football Jesus to Messi's John the Baptist, but it's just a little disheartening to root for an obvious favorite, unless you've got a compelling emotional attachment.
This is my list, and I tried really hard to exclude US History Glup Shittos. On the right is my list of senators whose careers I can remember who I think have a reasonable shot at winning a reputation 50+ years from now. I tried to exclude senators who aren't known for their senate careers.
Throwback to when I was drawing maps by hand- this is my congressional district, or it was. WI-5 as of 2019
A visual representation of how it feels to organize a series of summer events while accommodating a dozen peoples preferences and schedules
Belated group stages prediction. I really wanted to root for Curacao and Haiti, but I think their groups are just too tough. Same woth Cabo Verde. Hope they prove me wrong, though!
This is awesome, lol. Flies in the face of almost every single pre-season prediction for the NL Central
"Why does the symbol on the Minnesota Twins hats reminds me of the flag of Iran?" -my grandma, moments ago
I haven't been able to share this yet, but I'm so excited! The board game Mysterium has a terrible organization insert, so I had a better one printed, borrowed my friends copy under the guise of playing it with family, and will surprise her with an organized box! Before and after below
I think we're getting a "Shy Democrat" effect in the polls Everyone hates trump, but the democratic party is embarassing, so they don't say it, but they kinda know they'll do the right thing anyway
I've been thinking about this since I saw it, and I think it's our best way out of this mess. We can take a region that netted republicans 70 seats in 2024 and cap that around ~40. If we expand it to Ohio, Indiana, and the swing states, we can establish a floor high enough for us to win bad cycles.
He restored papal supremacy over Constantinople and brought the Latin Mass to the Hagia Sofia is what he did. He was a brave Italian soldier, and in this house Boniface of Montferrat is a hero- end of story
Imagine if we got a polling error to go our way and it gets us this. The GOP goes into the night managing expectations, "it's going to be a tough night, we might even lose the senate!" Cut to republicans losing literally everywhere
Finally reading Heir to the Empire, and idk why everyone's so afraid of this guy
