I would say definitely take advantage of a digital calendar and some sort of LMS (whether that is Google Classroom or Canvas) from the teacher end. I would also say from the teacher end that on the first day of class for each week to make sure to schedule in “housekeeping stuff”. It will also be important for departments and/or grade levels to plan together in order for big assignments/assessments/projects to not overlap as much as possible.

For student side of things it is imperative to start using the digital calendar, and I would even say some sort of paper calendar to get started. Ideally there would be some homeroom situation where students could organize themselves each week. The schedule I was on had one day each week (Mondays) where they attended all classes in one day in order to keep organized.

Ooh! There are so many great k-dramas out there! I’m enjoying First Night with the Duke, but it’s not 100% released, so I reserve judgement about the quality. Hands down, my favorite is My Dearest, a gorgeous panoply of love amidst war, tragedy, and ultimately, growth and self discovery.

During Winter Break, I started playing Stalker 2, admittedly on easy mode. It reminds me so much of what I loved from Red Dead Redemption 2, Skyrim, and the Fallout games. Open world exploration with an enjoyable storyline. I got stuck in SIRCA b/c of a bug; if on xbox, avoid there for now.

Letters swallow themselves in seconds.
Notes friends tied to the doorknob,
transparent scarlet paper,
sizzle like moth wings,

So much of any year is flammable,

Where there was something and suddenly isn’t,
an absence shouts, celebrates, leaves a space.
