I finally broke down and treated myself to a new pair of walking sandals which are more attractive and comfortable than my old walking sandals. The added bonus is they were also less expensive than the older walking sandals were.

This evening I am finding joy in dining on this small skillet of fajitas cooked exactly the way I like them.

I'm ready for fajita Friday. Chicken breast marinating in the bottom container, sliced red and green peppers in the middle one, and chopped onion on top. Early prep makes whipping up fajitas so much easier.

I was out celebrating my 68th birthday with a little 2 mile morning walk when I came across this yard filled with anti Trump signs. There are a couple more you can't see in the photo one saying, "Who the hell voted for Elon?" Seeing this made my day.

I am getting my grilling groove back and this evening's grill mix of summer squash, red peppers, mushrooms and asparagus is now marinating in Italian Dressing and a roasted garlic herb mix.
