Washington drafted guard Tre Johnson in 1992. The 328 pounder 2nd rounder retired after 8 years in 2000. What has he been doing since? Well, he's still playing guard, but he's trimmed down a lot. He just gots drafted again, this time in the NBA as a guard by the Wizards in the 1st round.

The @wshcommanders.bsky.social coaching staff added some more BOOM to it. No, not John Madden's grandson (though that's a fun story). We added Brian Schneider as assistant special teams coach. Schneider has previously been top dog with some pretty good San Francisco and Seattle unit.
From 1982-1991, I never looked at strength of schedule because Washington was the strength of the schedule. We were the team every other team needed to respect. So while 2025's opponents may appear daunting, next year, teams have to face us! #HailYeah and #RaiseHail DC!
