18th Game of 2026: Shelldiver Another game I went into blind and was pleasantly sucked into. The progression through the skill tree and the levels was very seamless. The interactions were very satisfying and the gameplay was enjoyable!
17th Game of 2026: Moonleap I went in blind to this game and was pleasantly surprised to find a puzzle-platformer, of sorts. Which means I sucked so much but it was fun enough to keep going until the end and even getting all the secrets. I feel that says a lot about this game.
Yesterday, I went for 40 kilometre bike. It was the perfect weather too. Slight overcast. It feels great to be outside.
I had no plan to go swimming today but the expected rain didn’t show up. Managed 2500 meters. It was so quiet and chill.
16th Game of 2026: The Incident at Galley House I watched my partner start playing this on the big screen and knew very quickly that I would want to experience it too. Highly recommend if you're into figuring out what happened kind of game through deduction and clues.
Another fantastic swim. I made it to 2000 meters! I can’t describe how amazing it feels to be back in the water. 🏊🏻♀️
First time back in the pool after several years. Man, I felt so out of shape but managed 1700 meters before my body said no more. Until next time 🏊🏻♀️
15th Game of 2026: 007 First Light It's perfect in every way. Game of my year 2026. I love Hitman and I think the team elevated what they've created with that in this game. Really enjoyed the 'up and coming' James Bond narrative too. And it was gorgeous! The set pieces were awesome. Perfection.
I went to a Renaissance Faire and found this cat themed metal dice set, which the partner bought for me. Photobomb by the kitty.
I found a pretty cool business called @pixyls.bsky.social that offers a “paint by numbers” experience but it’s pixel art with little square stickers. Just look how happy these little guys are!
I had a rocky May of not biking but definitely made up for it in the month of June with a few 20 miles trips outside. I still have hope for the next half of the year.
14th Game of 2026: Utter A Name A little puzzle game of gathering clues and figuring out who is who. But most of all, who killed who. My brain tingled a bit with this one and I felt a little silly with one clue that seems so obvious after the fact.
Bibi Bees Bibitron Madame Wit-Whikies Couch-bees Grumpy Slug Bread Almond grilly Hymi-hamburger And the list goes on…
13th Game of 2026: Librarian: Tidy Up the Arcane Library I appreciate this game a lot. When playing the game as normal, it was fun. The gaining of magical abilities to make the sorting faster. Fantastic. The run without using magical abilities... *stare into the distance*
12th Game of 2026: LEGO Horizon Adventures A perfect game in my books. It's gorgeous, plays great and iterates on an IP that I love in such a unique way. Did I already say it was good looking? LEGO games have come a long way.
My body was not ready for the sheer excitement of hearing that @warhorsestudios.bsky.social is making a Middle-Earth game 🤩 I feel like a kid again.
I'm a pretty big fan of the LEGO video games and I must say that Horizon Adventures in peak. Like, wow. How is this game allowed to be this gorgeous? And it's a fantastic rendition of Horizon Zero Dawn. And it's fun as heck! Like, thank you to everyone who had a hand in making this game a reality.
11th Game of 2026: Cinders This is my first visual novel. It's a Cinderella story with a lot of choice making that impacts the ending. Like my first read-through I didn't marry the prince. The illustrations are nicely done and the music is one point.
10th Game of 2026: Cozy Organizer A relaxing array of organizing objects and puzzles scenes. Can't ask for more than that for an evening of fun.
9th Game of 2026: Undusted I went in expecting a charming game about cleaning. The next thing I knew, I was ugly crying. Loved the pixel stylization on the 3d assets plus the beautiful illustrations, and of course, the story.
8th Game of 2026: The Blackwell Convergence This is the 3rd game in the series. I played the first two last year with the intent of finishing them all. This is just a classic adventure game and I really like how the characters are developing through the games.
7th Game of 2026: Please Fix The Road. This is the type of game that I keep revisiting after allowing my brain to cool from overheating while trying to figure out the puzzles. They are good puzzles, but yeah, the brain tingles with this one.
6th Game of 2026: Flowers and Favours Another cute game where you make gorgeous flower bouquets for adorable animals. You eventually learn their stories too! Fully enjoyed this one and got lost in the flower arranging pretty hard.
5th Game of 2026: Little Corners Sometimes you just need a cute sticker game with a chill soundtrack. I love games like theses. Super unique and adorable. Perfect for a relaxing evening of building fantastical sticker scenes.
Finally caught up and passed the monthly distance so far! I’ll be pretty ahead going into April but that’s good because sometimes life happens.
4th Game of 2026: Hades 2 One of the best game sequels I’ve ever played. Everything of the first but elevated with a sprinkle of new! I can’t decide between the different salutes so return to shadow now!
