A photograph is not just a picture to admire, but an experience to return to.
I'd swear that including pics of cats or dogs does attract the algorithm, resulting in more likes and responses.
Is this too presumptuous for a title? The Governing Dynamics of Psychology: A New Foundation And Structure For Understanding The Human Psyche
Can you imagine a psychology theory not based on the psyche? Well, for a start, it wouldn't be psychology in that case, now would it?
I'm exhausted! WIP is now a submission to Aeon: Governing Rhythms: The Four Roots of Behavior and the Reweaving of the Self
I wondered why I kept sneezing regularly the past few weeks, and if this is any indication of the dust throughout my apartment, the answer is staring me in the face.
Nearing 20 years old, my cat is doing quite well. She doesn't jump well, but accommodations are made to help her get around. She will eat me out of house and home soon enough.
There's an assumption about evolution which is that it occurs randomly in try, try, try again scenarios. But what if evolution isn't so random? What if there are patterns in place used by evolution as a framework on which to build?
If I'm right, and I'm never wrong, psychology will need to take a serious look at the laws of physics to better understand behaviors.
Where do all the #physicists hide out? I need help on one teeny, tiny project, and they are nowhere to be found. Maybe it is because it's a crazy, stupid idea being proposed, but they could at least say it is. *sigh . . .
Shall we kindly say these are less than inspiring. [Is it snowing in the cave?] Rather, they remind me of this fine restoration.
Bodega cat posted immediately below your post, doing nothing. Coincidence? I think not!
@wainwright.bsky.social #SecondLife Might you have, or considered making a coachman's cape? It does go by different names, and seems to be a popular style in Victorian times. Looking around, have not found a quality one yet.
The theme for this Saturday's dance is Romance. Think I've struck the right chord for the event. #SecondLife
LOL! I seem to have perfected the Blunder. Once I cut power to the house with a sawzall, about which my wife was most unappreciative. Then there were times I did such things as this:
Bored, bored, bored. No new problems for the old grey cells to delve into and solve. Nothing to keep me awake working out solutions. I need a stimulating human problem. Perhaps all has been solved when it comes to the psyche?
