The three cats are inside the house behind the screen door. The photographer is outside, on the porch, and is holding a small live native lizard in her hand to show to the boys. She found the lizard inside the house under a laundry basket, and took it outside to put it in the garden, but it refused to get off her warm hand. The cats came to investigate.
