I checked Libby and my library doesn't have the audiobook at all 🤷 But fine maybe I'll feel like reading it 20 weeks from now
ChatGPT's pathetic attempts at doing a raster effect (generating MMC3 test ROMs for my custom assembler syntax)
A bit wonky but but only two prompts (first it put the bend right in the middle then I refined on what I wanted to see and it explained where that goes). With multiple passes fiddling I bet it can get better-behaved elbows.
MFW ChatGPT just keeps inventing dense jargon of its own that becomes absolutely exhausting to decode after a while: "But in transitive summary composition, treat non-call boundary flow into an entry as a continuation edge."
A big round trunk with a couple massive branches jutting out of the top all at once, and each of the leaves are the size of a small dog. Also half of the leaves are stinkbugs with legs. Yep, that's that trees look like.
Finally, an AI model that can put some trees on hills. Gamedev = solved
If you're extremely online and in tech you might have noticed this phenomenon of there being tons of trans women specifically in certain "hardcore" areas like compilers, PL theory/formal methods, emulators, systems languages like Rust, etc. Saw this Twitter post once goofing on the phenomenon
I was googling a specific paper on Abstract Interpretation for my reverse engineering work and I landed on something EXTREMELY trans .....at least I thought I did, until I learned that this whole site is a fake, AI generated forum. I was crestfallen tbh. Seemed like a cool niche thing
LMAO at this guy slinking away in shame after he realizes he's not getting paid $1 for adding a semicolon
So this is a cool idea, but since the spell system is so free-form, I suspected it had to be doing some kind of "eval()" of server-sent code.......had GPT analyze directed by my hunches and it turns out I'm right. Yikes. Security nightmare. They just prompt the AI with "don't do eval" LMAO
The NES reverse-engineering program is coming along. Got this control-flow graph going on now, but I'm still doing back-and-forth with the AI on layout algorithms to e.g. eliminate this stair-step thing with many small nodes
People are trolling AI with a question about walking or driving to the car wash, but I stumped ChatGPT with this version:
It means "progressive electro" but I choose to read it as "electro-Canadian"
#290 in CoolBoy 400-in-1 (Unl)[U][!].nes for anyone who might stumble across this like 3 years from now
Revisiting this NES reversing project as one of my side projects now that I can just yell at AI to do it while I juggle the commercial project and other side project(s) with it
. @addark.bsky.social this sounds like something you would have played in the Turntable.fm days www.youtube.com/watch?v=y-7q...
I actually love the creepy, California-Raisins-ass clipart of the Spotify cover-maker tool and need more of it
