Every time I go to the grocery store by my house, I see this giant, half-price, nearly seven pound (!) can of nacho cheese & wish I had some reason to buy it. It tempts me in an unsettling way.
According to ESPN, it's now essentially a three person race in the BrewPool with Daveed, Gulyas, and Brewer in the mix. Randy's got a puncher's chance and Derek needs a lightning bolt. BJO and myself are already eliminated. Sad!
What you won’t hear on the #Oscars tonight: ‘KPop Demon Hunters’ was loosely based on my time as an adjunct professor at a small liberal arts college in Vermont.
Some fun extra pictures from this weekend’s storm: BoA HQ is a rabbit sanctuary, inside and out.
Final Tito’s Storm Tracker update at ~noon. The news says we got about 18 inches. Tito’s buried, left to absorb the magic of winter until he emerges in the spring. Thanks to everyone who joined in on the journey.
When you’ve got so many chew toys, you’re not sure which one to maw on first. Sir Larry Lawrence living his best life.
Tito’s Storm Tracker 9 PM update. He gone! After 11 long hours of snow, Tito has been reduced to a diminutive nub likely to be completely covered very soon. Meanwhile, check out the deck hole!
Tito’s Storm Tracker 6:30 PM update. Night has fallen, the Pats are on to the Super Bowl, and all that remains visible of Tito is his sturdy golden cap.
Tito’s Storm Tracker 4:45 (Pats halftime) update. The sun is about to set & Tito is nearly covered now. That odd spot in the snow is apparently a hole in the deck, as seen in the 4th photo.
Tito’s Storm Tracker 3 PM update. We’re in the thick of it now, picking up several inches an hour. More updates to follow. Go Pats!

This week on BoA: The Revival, legendary cryptozoologist Loren Coleman returns for a fascinating deep dive on the confounding Dover Demon case and his integral role in putting it on the proverbial paranormal map back in 1977. open.spotify.com/episode/4VqO... www.youtube.com/watch?v=xupS...
Alright, fortunately I did keep track of most of 2023's final scores, so it wasn't hard to go back and fill in the missing weeks. By my estimation, Brewer (Week 9) & Persist (Week 11) would share the '23 Coxy with scores of 12-2. I'll update the record books accordingly.
An excellent recap of another fantastic season, Jack! For BrewPool lore aficionados and completists, here are the proverbial record books for all 5 BrewPool seasons to date.
One minor BrewPool lore note: the Coxy Award name came about mid-season 2024 after Coxy boasted about having the best single-week record in 2022 and possibly 2024. Days later, UFOC achieved perfection and ended that dream, but the hilarity of naming the award the Coxy stuck and the rest is history.
Agreed! To that end, here's an updated scorecard for the 1 PM gauntlet ...
Alright, BrewPoolians, for one last time this season, here is YOUR officially licensed BrewPool scorecard (traditional format) and, in light of this week's implications, an extra special 'Chase for the Championship' collector's edition scorecard. Stats to follow.
Updated BrewPool standings through Week 17. An astonishing five players still have a viable shot at the 2025 championship, making for a monumental Week 18. Happy New Year, BrewPoolians!
I believe you mean 7-5 for Karen and I've got @michaeljreynolds.bsky.social also still alive at 7-5 with a viable path to victory.
