Happy to spot a Tawny mining bee nest in our lawn this morning. 🐝 They are ground nesting solitary bees, ginger in colour. They are important pollinators. They are incredibly docile, and will leave after a few weeks. #30DaysWild #SaveTheBees

An excellent time in Lyme Regis for the #FossilFestival Brilliant @deanrlomax.bsky.social and @bobnichollsart.bsky.social talk and book signing. Paid my respects to Mary, found some cool fossilised wood, visited Dinosaurland fossil museum, and finally got my hands on a Scelidosaurus model.
