Black Lesbian Lit is finishing its fifth book of 2026. This book has my emotions in a blender. Who has read it? Does it hit harder if you are from NYC and/or a marginalized community?
This is the shit that I see on FB everyday. But these posts never violate their community standards. A video I posted of a Black woman talking about mental health, however, did.
A post like this appears on my FB everyday. They always four things in common: They target Black women or sexual minorities, they have hundred to thousands of likes and comments, it clearly doesn’t matter that they are untrue, and they always use an image of a Black celebrity.
Black Lesbians talking books and spit’n poetry on the weekend. Finishing - Daughters of the Stone. Great book BTW. Listening/Discussing Harriet Tubman in Concert. A couple of poetry nights. Then on to our next book. Bring the chips, dips, and whatever else ya got.
Most of what I do on social media is about running BLC. Personally, social media isn’t really my thing. But before I got on it, my mornings were about having 1-2 cups of tea while reading and then journaling. Then getting out in nature to nurture mind, body, and spirit. Not figure what to post.
After a recent conversation w/ a young stud, I want to congratulate studs and butches who now set boundaries with manipulative and predatory “straight” and other non-Lesbian women - some with boyfriends or husbands - who do not care about the emotional and physical danger their antics put you in.

Detransitioners need to be heard! Yesterday, that sentiment got me called a Nazi on this platform, my “agenda,”the legitimacy of BLC, and even my Blackness question. The caucacity was raging. They can stay mad! I invite the rest of you learn the history of Nazism and the upside down triangle.
