LORE from Puzzle 2 Solutions

LORE.
I suppose at this point I might tell you a little bit about who speaks this language. As of this puzzle, Nada is spoken by some 300 people in the coastal forests of a large tropical island, right near the continent. Some rabbits, as you’ve seen, but mostly forest critters like squirrels and civets.
illustrations: a map of the island with the Nadalands highlighted on the southern coast. next to that, some Nada speakers conversing, in particular a squirrel holding a stone hoe, an annoying looking civet, and an annoyed looking squirrel.
Nada is growing rapidly, helped by its speakers being among the first to cultivate the gquti root tuber. They are leaving behind their nomadic hunter lifestyle, spreading knowledge of the gquti along with their language and assimilating neighboring peoples.
illustrations: the gquti root tuber, very yam-like. a squirrel with a basket hitched to her head, full of gquti tubers. she holds one and says to a hunter rabbit: "let's go make a permanent settlement".
Most of the stories I'll be telling won't be about the speakers of Nada, but rather their linguistic descendants, thousands of years into the future. We'll see what becomes of it...
