A packed Guildhall last night for the Derry launch of Irish Republicanism & ‘The Gays’. Thanks to everyone who joined us and to Mayor Grace Uí Niallais for hosting it. The exhibition opens today at the Museum of Free Derry as part of Féile 2026 and is available to view during Museum opening hours.
Irish Republicanism & ‘The Gays’: Cherishing all the Children of the Nation Equally opens in Derry next week as part of Féile 2026. The Derry launch takes place at the Guildhall on Thursday 6th August at 7.00pm before the exhibition moves to the Museum of Free Derry from 7th August.
The Day Innocence Died will be screened this evening at Seán O'Casey Community Theatre, Dublin. Following the screening, Paul Doherty will take part in a discussion on Bloody Sunday, the families' campaign for truth and justice. Tickets here: qrfy.io/9O81vFxnXW

11.00am today - Memorial Service at the Bloody Sunday Monument, Rossville Street, including the unveiling of a new Palestinian-themed artwork by John Gillespie and the re-dedication of the plaque for Charles Love. All welcome.
On the 54th anniversary of Bloody Sunday, 30 January 1972, at the Monument, Rossville Street, Derry, John Kelly remembered his brother Michael (17), who was killed that day, and all those who were killed and injured. The commemoration was also dedicated to the children of Palestine.
Survivors and campaigners came together to confront decades of injustice. From Ballymurphy and Bloody Sunday to Hillsborough, Stardust, Creeslough and the Post Office scandal, shared stories of loss, resilience and determination laid bare the human cost and the ongoing fight for truth and justice.
Thank you to everyone who attended the Bloody Sunday Annual Lecture, & to our speakers Mitchel McLaughlin & Colum Eastwood, for a thoughtful discussion. The people of Derry once again turned out in incredible numbers to stand with the Bloody Sunday families & to support the ongoing fight for justice
