About the "NRSC boost" claim by Edward-Isaac Dovere published in CNN today... Left: claim, as expressed by Dovere in CNN today Center & Right: reality, as expressed in NRSC press releases from April and July Chuck Shumer and Edward-Isaac Dovere get paid a lot to be pretend to be stupid. I do not.

1) The poll is only Biden20/NOTA24 voters, and is probably skewed in relevant ways, including that respondents who were influenced by racism and/or misogyny are likely overrepresented, but hidden 2) *Even taking that into account* the poll directly contradicts what you're saying about winnability 🙄

They also have a coherent theory of what’s wrong with the country. 72% told the pollsters the top problem facing America is that the richest 1% have taken $50 trillion in wealth from the bottom 90% over the past several decades. Only 20% picked government spending, immigration, or “wokeness.” That’s a 52-point gap.

Following on that last set of boosts, note that JFK was assassinated less than two years after he said this, and a big part of the reason there's so much doubt about what happened is that by that time he'd pissed off *multiple* factions within the establishment.

For too long my country, the wealthiest nation in a continent which is not wealthy, failed to carry out its full responsibilities to its sister Republics. We have now accepted that responsibility. In the same way those who possess wealth and power in poor nations must accept their own responsibilities. They must lead the fight for those basic reforms which alone can preserve the fabric of their societies. Those who make peaceful revolution impossible will make violent revolution inevitable.
