Just behind the camera, an anxious Hegseth stands with his axe waiting for an unsuspecting drummer
This is an in-progress Most Dad Thing, but I got roped into being Delaware delegate Col. Thomas McKean in a community theatre production of 1776 that has a show on the 250th, fake Scottish accent and all. Also my costume pants were made about 6 blocks from Independence Hall.
Speaking of your profession, I thought about you recently when I saw a 15th century “fuck it we’ll do it live” in downtown Bristol
Completely forgot to post this (saw this in our first few hours), but Bath has their very own MacDowell’s! It’s hard to see, but there’s even double arches over the entry 😂
I’ve driven about 200 miles the past few days on the wrong side of the car on the wrong side of the road. I’ve earned the Bigga Birra Moretti.
The Westminster bell-ringer went a bit faster, had lots of fun, and definitely approves
Much later update: fast but not dangerous like Boston. No concussions or Glocks sliding out on this one.
We found the dangerous Boston cop slide at a park in Bath! Will update as to how it is. Maybe I should record it…
At some upstart theater by a guy named Billy Shakes. Or Spears. Maybe related to Britney, who knows.
On a brighter note, he had a great time last night with a performer in Covent Garden. He threw the bricks up for him as he balanced and built the stand he’s balancing on. So very cool.
Many thanks to the Westminster Abbey staff who stepped in to help immediately after it happened! He’s fine, but is very thankful for the ice pack!
ACHIEVEMENT UNLOCKED: Ice pack at Westminster Abbey. My son walked clear into this sign to the point that it gonged.
This was outside the Empress Museum in London which is putting on a show called Come Alive!, which takes The Greatest Showman music/story and integrates it into a circus in the round. Highly recommend if you’re in London this summer!
