Well, that was a fun eclipse. Interesting to see the Sun as a crescent for a change. Got close to a dozen people who came to watch through my telescope. (Myself pictured.) Handed out some eclipse glasses I had brought, even got a couple back.

THE WITNESS: I was asked, did I know of any lists of certificates of land allotments, and I am under oath. I do know about this list. It's the longest one I know about because it has -- I counted up over 2,000 entries.

A 6-panel comic.

On the first panel a young man looks at a trees stump amid some leaves and cherries, there are some bushes in the background. He says "oh no! the rare cherry tree grandma brought with her from the old country! It's been chopped down!! And only a week after my new neighbor complained about it blocking his view too!"

On the second panel the same young man looks puzzled as "Tree law?" is said by someone not pictured.

On the third panel an older-looking lawyer appears from behind a fence, he's bald but has a magnificent beard. He's wearing a suit and carrying a briefcase. He's asking "Tree law?"

On the fourth panel another lawyer emerges from the bushes. Only their head can be seen, they have short hair and are sporting sunglasses. They, too, is asking "TREE LAW?!".

On the fifth panel yet another lawyer crawls out of the ground under the tree stump, they have long hair and briefcase in hand. Again saying "Tree law!!".

On the sixth and final panel the young man from the first pages is carried aloft by a mob of lawyers. They're carrying torches and pitchforks, throwing banknotes into the air, and are shouting "TREE! LAW! TREE! LAW!".

Has the fucking ghost block bug struck again?

A bluesky reply by profanity.accountant, showing that rahaeli has used 4158 profanities in her last 25032 posts. The record-holders are "fucking" (1666 times), "fuck" (546 times), and "shit" (434 times).

The reply is to "a post", which is a hallmark of there being a block between the replier and the person replied to.
