I’ve finally seen Project Hail Mary and it’s definitely worth the hype. It’s been so long since a blockbuster release had me laugh, cry, and had me glued to the screen like this. I love the science, the set-up, and how Grace ended up where he is (and why that’s really the best thing for him) 10/10

Finished another Morrsarr Guard for my #ageofsigmar Idoneth. This one is based on the Ribbon Eel and looks really striking I feel! It’s a good pose and a good kit and I love the little baby one on the base (from one of the Namarti kits). Nearly finished my second unit of them now! #modelpainting

It’s always nice to hear a British accent in a dubbed anime but it’s usually posh southerners, so I was absolutely floored to hear one that sounds native to the north of England in the Witch Hat Atelier dub. Turns out the VA is actually American but he sounds so good I was actually convinced lol

My latest Idoneth mini and the only one I’ve managed to get to stick to the flying stand with plastic glue. Colour scheme for this one is based on the IRL eel “red eel” Had fun converting the spear slung across the saddle because it bothered me that it was shell or nowt #minipainting #ageofsigmar

Just watched The Lighthouse and was blown away by it. Every frame is beautifully composed and lit and everything from the aspect ratio to the sound design (plus the acting) really adds to the creeping madness you feel throughout the whole thing Bonus points for having a real Fresnel lens made.

I find it so funny how antagonistic the three main aelven factions of #ageofaigmar are towards each other in the Order grand alliance that it inspired me to create something silly. (This is the first art I’ve done in months lmao)

After about 6 months since I bought it, I finally finished painting my first #ageofsigmar Spearhead and I’m really happy with how they came out! Decided on a more nature-inspired palette for my fish than usual. Now only have the other Idoneth spearhead to build and paint (amongst other things) 😅

Binged Maria the Virgin Witch while ill and what looked like a cutesy genre anime turned out to be an earnest critique of blind adherence to religious doctrine, plus a surprisingly accurate portrayal of arms, armour, and warfare during the Hundred Years War (minus the summoning giant monsters ofc)

Watched The Northman and it’s one of those movies where in the first minutes you know you’re watching a MOVIE. Nicely accurate depiction of 9c Norse existence and clothing and how faith and superstition wove into everyday life and perception, done with some really creative choices.

I’ve just finished binging the Girls Last Tour manga and it’s one of the most thought provoking, bittersweet things I’ve read in a while. It’s been a hell of a ride and the ending had me tearing right up :’c
