32 years ago today, terrorists bombed the AMIA Jewish Center in Buenos Aires, murdering 85 people and wounding more than 300 others. This Iran-backed attack on Argentina’s Jewish community remains the deadliest act of terror in Latin American history.

We mourn the passing of U.S. Sen. Lindsey Graham, a towering friend of Israel. We are forever grateful for his unwavering backing of the only Jewish state in the world. May his memory be a blessing.

On the occasion of his retirement, B’nxai B’rith International CEO Dan Mariaschin (second from right) was honored by B’nai B’rith Israel at its 98th convention today in Kfar Sava.
We express our deepest gratitude to CEO Daniel S. Mariaschin as he concludes 27 years of extraordinary leadership at the helm of B’nai B’rith—and nearly 40 with the organization—and begins a new chapter as Honorary CEO and Senior Advisor.
The program is now underway, with working meetings with Ministry of Health officials already scheduled. This cooperation will help improve the quality of life of many Argentines while strengthening B’nai B’rith’s positive presence in Argentine society.
The agreement follows a May meeting with President Milei, FM Pablo Quirno and Health Minister Mario Lugones, attended by B’nai B’rith Intl. leadership and DAIA President Mauro Berenstein. Following that meeting, Minister Lugones reached out to begin drafting the agreement, which has now been signed.
On June 26, B’nai B’rith Argentina President Susana Chalón and Secretary Dr. Daniel Sporn signed a Cooperation and Donation Agreement between B’nai B’rith District XXVI and Argentina’s National Ministry of Health, covering donations of medications, supplies and medical equipment.

Mariaschin recalled his mother taking him as a child to see the newly built U.N. HQ, a place that then symbolized hope. Today, “she would be shocked.” He argued that anti-Semitism has become “an industry” within the international system—and the U.N.’s record on Israel makes it hard to disagree.

At the 56th OAS GA opening session in Panama, host nation President José Raúl Mulino called on the OAS to support Bolivian President Rodrigo Paz amid unrest, called for a near-term solution for Cuba and Venezuela, and urged swift action under international law to end the dictatorship in Nicaragua.
