In Germany lots of big windows have blinds on the outside - see photo. I thought about installing these here during the last heatwave. I should have actually done it! Climate action....

I had a patch of purple tulips once which I called 'tulips from Amsterdam', as I had bought the bulbs at the airport, but they were first decapitated by the squirrels and then dug up by the squirrels - total devastation!! This photo is from before that happened.
