Been dealing with some personal biz lately, so I haven't been here much. Have had a bit of time tho to work on something I've had sitting around for a bit. Trying my hand at making a quilt from some old t-shirts & leftover fabrics. It's coming together much quicker than I expected

Not sure if I've ever shown off my writing hutch, so here it is. Found it at a thrift store & IMMEDIATELY grabbed it lol It holds all my fancy pens, inks, wax seals & stamps, extra notepads, envelopes, & more! 😁

Made good use of my writing hutch & finally finished an important letter I've been drafting for a while. Nice to actually use my fancy envelopes and wax seals for a change.

My tattoo guy had time for walk-ins today, so I went over & had him do something that I designed myself this time. Love how it came out, can't wait to see it healed!

For Mother's Day this year I made my mum a batch of Coconut Lemon Muffins. Haven't tried them yet, but they smell good!

I recently traded in my Rumble LT25 for a Positive Grid Spark Mini. Haven't plugged my bass into it yet, but it's got a lot of tone & volume for an amp that small. I'd highly recommend checking out the PG Spark lineup, & maybe their toggle pedal for switching presets. I keep this on my desk btw 🤣

My mum got me one of those temu Picto Boxes for Easter, & it's actually pretty dope! Not the best image quality, but it's a neat little trinket that works better & does more than I expected. Solid gift 👍

Bonus shot of my old blacksmithing tools that I still have kicking around

Since I was refitting my sword recently I thought it would be a good time to do the same with one of the knives I made during my time as a blacksmith. It was A little roughly shaped, but I cleaned it up & gave it a nice new handle. Pretty happy with this one as well.

Finally, I cut some leather for the handle & assembled it with the fittings I had ordered. The wrap was a major pain in the ass to do, but I think it turned out really well. Feels really nice to hold now, & as a bonus, the extended length shifted the balance & made it more comfortable 😁

After stripping the handle I cut the cleaned up the profile, then I cut & reshaped the guard. Next up I carved & shaped a new wooden handle that was longer than the original. I wanted a 2-handed grip for more control & maneuverability. Spent 2 weeks sealing it with boiled linseed oil
