We got Spurt about six years ago. He is badly made, from the cheapest components possible, and is terrible at what he does, but he keeps on going. Be more spurt.
Three quid charity shop iPad mini keyboard, some loving dremeling, an old hacked Amazon Fire tablet and some VHB tape and I have reinvented the Netbook! Gonna stick a Commodore logo on it and make bank.
I saw this awful Ai generated thing on the wall of the shopping precinct in Cheltenham. The more you look. The worse it gets.
New incredibly generic arcade games seem to be happening these days. All the games look like phone games. The driving one has some of the worst texture shearing I’ve seen in ages.
As a 53 year old person, I still do this. Every year, I book a random day off mid year and get on the train to the seaside. I won’t hear a bad word about seaside towns, yeah they’re cliche and some of them are a bit scruffy, but I don’t care.

I’ve been an Ernie Ball 10s enjoyer for years, but I hear good things about these. I just wish the packaging didn’t look like willy pills.
I was generously gifted this handsome Japanese PowerBook 100 by the lovely @onlyretrofans.com a while back. It wants to live, it makes the positive chime when you press the debug key, but the HD is making rattles, so I think I’ll take a chance and drop a bluescsi in there.
Directive 1: Serve the public trust. Directive 2: Protect the innocent. Directive 3: Uphold the law. Directive 4: Cleavage dude.
This stuff works better than WD-40 but whoever did the can artwork is both passionate about graphic design and double entendres.
Picked up a miniature Waco one armed bandit money box today. Needs a bit of cosmetic work, but once I’d lubricated the mechanism it works fine.
