I have used neopixel compatible WS2812-4020 side emitting addressable LEDs for 3 years. I hate them. Today I assembled a set of PCBs using the SK6812-EC6210R side emitting addressable LEDs. These are much easier to work with. More importantly, if/when needed, these are much easier to rework.

On a challenge, I managed to engrave the entire "conscience of a hacker" onto a 47mm coin. I am happy to report the text is readable ... at least it is for me.

My ePuck for #DEFCON It now uses gestures for swiping between views and flipping through content. If I leave it on a view, it automatically goes into carousel mode. Case is 80mm*17mm. ESP32s3 and 480x480 18bit touch display. Video is at 20fps. All media is on an SD card.

From time to time I buy 2-3 lbs of Salmon. I do a 60 minute "mini cure" with salt and sugar. I then cut it into 1/2lbs portions and freeze it. That way it's ready for making sushi bowls, sushi lasagna, sushi cups, etc.

1/ Working on a youth skills exercise. The goal is to design a small PCB which can be used to teach basic use of an oscilloscope. The primary skill is to use the probe points to see different results on the scope.
