It’s actually kinda sad that I thought I recognized one of those countries. Turns out I was thinking of an unlabeled spot next to Nigeria, which is where Liberia is. Why’d I almost recognize Liberia? That’s where ICE/DOJ were going to send Abrego Garcia as soon as he was rescued from El Salvador.

I had a thought about the regime, its propagandists, and its followers.

It’s not, “The Emperor’s New Clothes”.

It’s a couple of guys pretending to drag a dead horse in front of a crowd, then act like they’re attacking it with invisible baseball bats.

And they do this to see who’s dumb enough to gasp in shock and be horrified by them beating an imaginary dead horse.

Case in point, a question on a random MAGA influencer’s community post, “Do you support Trump banning Medicaid from giving transexual operations to minors?”

…First, Medicaid DOESN’T DO THAT, and it was NEVER A THING THEY DID.

Second, bold of him to bring up Trump in relations to minors, and not expect people to point out how they need to be protected FROM him.

And finally, anyone who answered yes to that poll should lose their right to vote. Because it means:

A: You’re corrupt, because you’re being paid to act as a fluffer for a corrupt child-raper, which means your morality cannot be trusted to make ANY decision that affects other people.

B: You’re malicious, because you’re also supporting a guy who raped children, but you’re doing it for free, out of stubborn spite and refusal to admit you’re wrong. You’re objectively a bad person. So again, you don’t get to make decisions that affect your community and country anymore, you cannot be trusted with that responsibility.

C: You’re genuinely THAT dumb, that you still believe anything Trump (or anyone associated with Trump) says. You’re too stupid to be trusted to make a smart decision, and you don’t get to vote anymore for the same reason why a kid who thinks 2+2 equals “Potato!” doesn’t get a passing grade.

Of course there’s also the most common type of Trump supporters, who drool when they drive past preschools and moan when they wipe, but they aren’t relevant to my opinion on people answering that BS poll, or idiots who’ll believe someone is beating a dead invisible horse.

(for that particular analogy, the most common Trump supporters would be the ones hoping the invisible horse’s corpse is still warm and they can “get some use out of it”.)
