The pre-title sequence in #HeartstopperForever includes a glorious tracking shot as the boys run along a stone pier at dusk. I live for tracking shots. I was more excited by that than the hand-job at the end of it. Or, as actor Joe Locke called it, "a pier-job". #Heartstopper #Netflix
This will be my abiding image of Starmer. Trans rights are a niche issue for most people but it's emblematic of his duplicity. The UK has dropped from 1st to 22nd in Europe this year as a positive place for #LGBTQIA people, largely because of the demonisation of trans people. 🏳️🌈
On Friday the #Heartstopper movie launches on Netflix, the finale of the 'world-conquering cultural juggernaut' (Guardian) that is Alice Oseman's epic masterpiece. Some cried at every TV episode so be prepared. Whether I did so is between me and my tear ducts. 😭🏳️🌈🏳️⚧️
