I’m working on some art for a thing I’m writing. Two people forced into a relationship are separated because one of them is a violent impulsive dipshit.
“9 Princes in Amber” was published in 1970, meaning dope-smoking acid-dropping professional drummer and future king Random could well have had Glamrock Hair while fencing werewolves and attempting to overthrow the government. #ChroniclesOfAmber
The Witcher drinks slivovitz I see. (It comes in a round bottle bc nothing with slivovitz in it can remain standing upright)
QRP with your horned art My Tiefling Tallery, an acrobat & contortionist.
He is a shape shifting sorcerer computer designer who’s an Olympic level athlete whose first crush was NOT a demon or a vampire he met in his childhood playground (a cemetery) while playing a bone flute that makes skeletons dance. Merlin/Merle Corey from Roger Zelazny’s #ChroniclesOfAmber
you’re invited to the bluesky halloween party; show off your costume.
Remember when you’re being mean to me this is who you’re being mean to.
Oh shit I forgot Balkan Ekspress, a WWII movie from 1983. I got this on VHS a million years & look for a dvd version every few years. A lot of my husband’s formative media is not easily available.
I love a lot of Emir Kusturica films but “underground” is probably my favorite. We have the super extended tv movie cut but I haven’t watched it bc reading subtitles is hard. Tony Gatlif is another fave- “gadjo dilo” is wonderful.
My child, N: mama send me a photo of you for my contacts Me: here you are. You can see all my eye bags. N: oh, I’m sure it’s not that bad. N: … oh. N: Oh. N: why do you… look like you got hit with tear gas? Me: that’s just how I look. N: … …… … oh…
GDI I forgot to add another stack of books on the left there. Just when I thought I was done…
Listening to Mary Stewart’s “Merlin” novels while drawing Roger Zelazny’s Merlin. As one does.
Working on a story framed around someone reminiscing over some Polaroids. I need to add some ashtrays. (It’s the 1980s.)
These jeans are supposed to be capris or floods or whatever. They’re meant to flash a bit of ankle. Note that they touch my feet. I’m going to have to turn these fashionable cuffs up even higher aren’t I?
