I have played NetHack for many years. The wand item comes with charges, once empty you can still attempt to zap it, occasionally getting the message: "You wrest one more spell from the worn out wand". This feels like the vocations journey at times.

Monkey. A popular kids and yoof tv show in Australia in the 80s. Dead ringer, even the sideburns... just needs the torc and costume.

A mouse moved in with me in winter. I had been feeding it in a containment strategy. But it started getting adventurous. Mabel has found it. It was beautiful and I was soon to make the difficult decision to live trap and release it over the fence where the tiger snakes stir.
