Feeling blessed. Bandit looking over me 💙 and Broc looking after me 🤔💕TBF, he would lick you to death 😂
Parhelion/Sun Dogs this evening at Head of Holland Orkney tonight. #Photography #Phenomenons #Sunsets #parhelion #SunDogs
It must be for a very large TV 1 March 2024 Orkney 😱🫣😆#BLUESKYARTSHOW #PHOTOGRAPHY #BIG
He truly is a daft dug. It was around 8wks after his surgery that he tried this for the first time. I couldn't believe it then (below) and still struggle with it today 4mths post surgery. He's been a very lucky boy, it should have been a fatal injury or paralysis at the very least.
Did you ever manage to get a Blue Plaque for Ms Taylor. Gawd but I loved National Velvet.
Definitely not slumming it. How I wish we were there with you 💙. I think Broc's agreeing 🤔🫣Hxx
I'm really intrigued by these 👇👇 Oh and the Beast went out West last night so at least a wee movement hopefully in the right direction 🤞🤞
Playing catch-up. Last night's sunset overlooking Kirkwall bay Orkney. 11.07.26
No problem. I've not managed to tempt them in yet, so hopefully they'll be encouraged by those.
Another stunning night up here in Orkney. Made more special because the Sun hadn't appeared all day.....yet again.
That one was definitely North Uist, I remember because loads of folks arrived with their cameras tripods etc to await the glory. I took this from inside the van 🫣 Coincidentally we were told about the beach whilst walking on West Beach. You'll likely recognise below courtesy of Mr Google.
So true. We got a Motorhome in 2019, no real plan but passports in hand, hit the road for a couple of months at a time.... we've never made it out of Scotland yet 😂 This was taken on our second morning and our fates were sealed. (Glascarnoch)
It's 2yrs ago today since we lost our remarkable Collie Bandit. He was blind by 20mths and every day going forward was inspirational. He was only one month shy of being 14 when we said goodbye. The adventures we had the friends we made whilst travelling Scotland in the van, "memories are everything"
A new dog definitely helped me. You can't ever replace them, but by gawd you can honour their memory. Bandit then Broc.
Good. It's where he belongs. When you feel able, get him in the van (newish Blaze Mobile)and take him on your travels. As you know Bandit still goes everywhere with us. He's even been reunited with his Granny. Hxxx
It really is. Building him up starts now. It'll be a while before we are doing our 6miles, but heh, there's absolutely no rush 😆
What kind of Jurassic animal have I come across in Orkney today ....think it's maybe a toothfootasaurus 😱😱??
Looks like it's beckoning you to go with it. My Collie is called Broc, Scottish Gaelic for....well you're already there.
So after 9wks of carefully controlled recovery since the surgery for Broc's broken neck (C2) we've reached this point....
Ach we won't likely get the heatwave up here in Orkney, it's definitely still cool here today even after last night's deception.
