had some time for a change, shennanigans afoot. added this cheap gibson eb-style pickup to this $60 ebay kit bass, when theres some time in a month or two a jazz pickup will go by the bridge. its so bassy its amazing. I had a 60s eb-2 (?) a long time ago and its not as bassy as that. But its good

Early 1930s art deco swingline stapler, its out house stapler. Replaced a much earlier style that fell and broke apart.

looks funny but is prob. very comfortable to play sitting down. lower bout is a kind of kickstand basically. see steve klein ergonomic, etc. I copied this general shape for what i build for myself, albeit with a more generous strandberg-style leg rest under the bridge.
