A mealy-mouthed sophist, or so I've been told. Excellent Poll Numbers. Thank you!
I like Francesca Hong. I’ll likely be voting for her next week. I remain concerned about her ability to beat horrible Tom Tiffany. u/hundredelle on Reddit put it better than I could. The window to tighten up the messaging is closing quickly.
You can't legally smoke a joint at home but it's more or less OK to drink and drive. Not really cool.
I thought “there’s no way this is real” the first time I saw it. Nope.
No thanks. That’s enough “lost faith in my fellow voters” for today.
Perhaps there is something going around. Popping like a balloon could be considered a sudden and brief illness.
New family moved in down the street. For the first few days they flew a Notre Dame flag. (We’re not in Indiana.) Now it’s this flag. I’m guessing we’re not gonna be friends.
Watertown is now the Streisand of school boards. Excellent work by the clowns to highlight their futile bigotry. Even better work by a local church, giving these kids a place for an experience they’ll never forget. www.watertownimmanuel.org/concert
Pick a Bond from the photos you already have in your phone.
This post is not about politics. It's about music. I just learned about a jazz band led by a former Ozzy band member (Adam Wakeman, son of Rick) that plays Black Sabbath songs - Jazz Sabbath. They are frickin' awesome. Check out the live album from earlier this year.
Good for Pam Bondi. “Being serious” is a really portable skill.
Once again, @theonion.com showing that it’s possible to deliver timely news on the printed page.
Getting that coveted “posing with the former DHS secretary” pic. No one had the courage to tell her during the Q&A? Must have been a roomful of cowards.
Anyone know what Nick Shirley is up to? Finding the (likely poorly hidden) details behind $140M of fraud, waste, and abuse would be a great use of his limited-intelligence investigational skills.
I wonder if iHeartMedia or News/Talk 1130 are on board with Milwaukee-based pot-stirrer Dan O'Donnell joking (?) about the assassination of a US politician. If you want to call and ask, the business line for the radio station is 414-545-8900.
And some people seemingly get *very* mad when your choice of interaction on a 3rd person's post doesn't align with their expectations of the platform.
Age verification? Oh - you wanted to listen to your music in the family car?
Yeah. I don't entirely understand how blocking works on this site. I've also been blocked by the person doubting my sincerity. Oh well.
If @nytpitchbot.bsky.social was choosing pics for stories...
Agreed. I'm not a lawyer, but her responses sounded like someone who wanted to help but had no cooperation from her client(s) and not enough or authority time to do things herself. It seemed like the opposing attorney recognized that as well.
