That mixed-use area that says non-residential first floor usage was only 1-2 blocks of high streets within each village though. If you compare to the deadzone that are the condos along the Cambie Corridor, this seems incredibly reasonable.
I really dislike that OneCity is leaning into the framing that upzoning "forces" anything to happen. Critique the Village Plan or the process, but nothing in the plan forced anyone to replace their home with a 6-storey mixed-use building. It merely permitted it, as Azaroff claims he wants to.
Well, John Carpay would know a lot about violating people's privacy. globalnews.ca/news/1139105...
Fun fact: There are no Muslims in Plaster Rock/Tobique Valley but go off
I see we've reached "actually, smog is good" level of climate denialism.
It's not every day my work makes it in Rebel News, but when it does, it's typically a good day.
Then we too could orchestrate coups and conduct illegal assassinations in Latin America
Extremely few are trailer friendly. Here's w counter examples (both Tesla). First in Hope there are pull thru BC Hydro Chargers and a couple Teslas you can pull alongside. The latter is Canmore where I got lucky to charge at the end of a bank of chargers (not 100% sure I was supposed to park there)
I just logged 2300km pulling a trailer with an EV from Metro Vancouver to Drumheller and back with my family. Ask me anything.
The only downside of the abortion bus in Kelowna is they make you get off early.
Glad to see the Conservatives will no longer promote Christian Heritage Month.
Beginning to think the Liberals have a consistent leadership issue here
Maybe don't recommend the thing that invented Mecha Hitler if you want to be taken seriously as a voice on antisemitism.
This one's going to be niche but I think I mapped out the BC Conservative leadership race for everyone.
So should every health minister across Canada? Hell, the Globe even published an interactive national map last summer. www.theglobeandmail.com/canada/artic...
Nice delivery today from our local CUPW postal worker. Looking forward to reading the @bcpolicy.bsky.social magazine.
Oh the transphobe is back to tell us the real issue is young women who don't like to be raped and sexually harassed. Great work platforming this bullshit Globe and Mail.
One would assume but I didn't realize Tara Armstrong's expose-the-advocacy-groups bill was so explicitly targeting everyone she doesn't like. www.leg.bc.ca/parliamentar...
I presumed it's out of order to introduce the exact same bill as is already on the order paper, but apparently the BC Legislature doesn't care.
