Here is how to stop data centers. Stop using things that need them! This also helps the local economy when you buy local instead of buy amazon. Use cash to help local businesses and reduce government spying on you.
Came home from vacation to find one section of my sweet potato’s leaves gone. Like something ate them. (And more weeds I need to pull after 7 days) Anyone have ideas? It looks to be a few days old and no new losses of leaves.
He approved AMR getting 911 runs. He has approved AmeriPro as well. More have submitted and are going to be approved. He has hiked prices of medical care. He has not supported the union. Has not directed negations for a contract as union members keep working with out a contract.
Does this mean YOU will fight to make no tax on tips and overtime permanent? You opposed it last time. Said it would hurt the economy to let people avoid taxes on over time. Because of that change I dropped a tax bracket and paid less. Which allowed me to pay off the credit card.
Instead of working with the union to get to a contract (EMS currently is working under an expired contract), @mayor.nyc.gov Mamdani has blocked negotiations, raised prices in medical care, and brought in for profit union busting private ambulances.
However, they won’t sign a contract with FDNY EMS union to cover workers who are paid 66% less than sanitation workers, won’t approve over time, and hiked the bills on medical care.
Mamdani @mayor.nyc.gov failed to plan. He cut overtime in EMS and now hundreds of 911 calls are being held. His fix? Pay for profit ambulance companies to do union jobs instead.
Unless you are a citizen who needs medical care. Then he will charge you through the nose and even if you don’t go to the hospital will charge you for calling 911. In the mean time he is brining in for profit companies to replace union workers. And refusing equal pay to EMS
We had as many as 612 EMS holds today due to chronic underfunding, and this latest budget failed to address this This is absolutely unacceptable 612 emergencies should never be put on the backburner People could have lost their lives today And @mayor.nyc.gov keeps on cutting overtime to save money
But be sure to leave the time square and Broadway lights going along with the AC in stores. And shut down escalators forcing people to use the power hungry elevators.
To balance his budget @mayor.nyc.gov has cut over time has blocked raises, raised the cost of transporting patients and started billing people who do get transported. He also exempted EMS from his heat safety rules for government workers.
On the left of the image is the “stream” from yesterday. Our fence line went up to it after we were banned from letting cows have access to water. Last year we were ordered to move the fence line back 100’ Now it’s grown up and we can’t use it but still pay the taxes.
Between calls. Then the supervisor shows up to say we can’t park in the school pick up lanes even if school is out. We need to move out of the lane. Ah #EMS In the mean time another crew is hiding by parking under the highway so they don’t get picked by CAD and we are told “I’ve talked to them”
This use to be a year round stream with fish in it until the state stepped in and “fixed” it In the late 90’s the state banned cattle from direct access to open water We had to fence them out of the stream and build a cross over 10 years later it was grown over Now this is all there is of the stream
The Gold Standard in Stroke Care! First to Care! Always in Service! Even with poor pay understaffing massive overtime and old equipment On top of cuts to paramedic positions and training, they still drive forward with better care Someday @LouisvilleMayor and @Seasoned4u will care
Why we have a housing shortage in Louisville. Here's 5 vacant lots next to 5 decent sized homes. But it's illegal to build those same sized homes today because if arbitrary government regulations (made up lot size & set backs) Worse the democrats on the council are the major opponents.
Another night done in #EMS Found a new spot to park away from the gas station near by It was great almost an hour of no walk ups asking if we had money/cigs or could give them a ride to the shelter three blocks away then cus us out for offering to call the police who do give rides to the shelter
Clans of Scotland A C Zimmer May I proudly present the America 250 Tartan designed by Kaci McEwan, a student from Heriot-Watt University’s School of Textiles and Design, to celebrate 250 years It will be officially presented to America, registered in the Scottish Register of Tartans on July 4, 2026
Talked to the owner of the rental about this tree He said “it’s a late bloomer” and the city says it’s not a problem (Pulled out it’s not their problem as it’s on private property) Still have him the number of a retired tree service owner who helps remove trees at cost for those with limited income.
And the Mayor refuses to support EMS. He would rather see them paid less than sanitation workers, have less overtime and wants people to die because of longer response times.
