@artbyyellowdog.neocities.org drew my boy! I think it's the most top energy he's ever had. I can't decide if he just finished in someone or is about to.
@silveredge.bsky.social drew this phenomenal GROVE fanart for me! My poor protogen fell in battle. Doesn't seem to be complaining though.
@thegaypossum.bsky.social drew this in 30s for me at #anthrohio2026 It was like watching a magic trick!
I'm writing my own video mixer for use at conventions. It embeds Servo to render each view, but I added zero-copy video inputs from decklink and SRT. (The top has 16 1080p60 video sources and below I currently have two outputs, but it can comfortably handle 8 on this hardware)
Here's what's inside, in case you're wondering. The fan is what happens when you don't think about cooling until the night before you need it working.
I finished building out my LiDAR sensor. It uses a PANDAR128 sensor along with a raspberry pi 5, IMU, dual IMX519 cameras, and a ZED-F9P GPS module. Unfortunately it only has a 1TB NVMe since that's all I had and storage is $$$ right now... It fills that in 30 minutes XD
I wrote my own SLAM to handle all the LiDAR data. It works! I scanned my house. Look at that beautiful loop closure~
Protogens: Now with 50% more leg, per leg. My protogen has a knack for getting into trouble wherever he goes. You'd think he was trying for it or something... Art by @iguwarf.bsky.social I really like what they did with him!
Preview of a project that's coming up. I got a LIDAR! This thing has 128 lasers and spits out something like 5M points per second. Gonna scan so many buildings with this thing.
Art by the amazing @mokamoshi.bsky.social Butters has infiltrated a cult but may have more than he bargained for. They slid a cursed cockring onto him and now he can't cum until dawn. He's quickly enthralled by the beast; its fruitless teasing distracting from the ritual performed through him.
Really happy with how my digital signage turned out at MAGFest this year. Other than the render box trying to upgrade to windows 11…
Did you make the entire harness from scratch, or did you start with a pre-made strap?
The venue for MAGFest controls access to their power by using weird connectors… The twist locks are at least normal, but where did they even find this blue one… Looks like mating connectors are about $500.
Thanks for making my protogen possible! I'm working to get real ears on him this weekend in time for MFF. (Also I need to add fans. He fogs up pretty quick right now.)
Gotta balance out the politics with some horny posting. I modded a Venus 2000 to have absolute position control so it can play back funscripts. Really happy with how it came out. I might share the design once things are more buttoned up.
youtu.be/O9fSK2AR594?... Good lord Nancy. This interview tells me pretty much everything I needed to know about how this election went down.
I was on a roadtrip in Colorado and hiked up the twin sisters. It was a great view but I was totally out of breath the whole time😅
Distro? More like distroyed. One of our attendees ran over a power distro with their truck. Next year we'll make sure to paint them bright yellow so they're obvious. Fortunately the generator was no longer running at the time.
Woah, guess I need to find a new carwash. And in the middle of pride month, no less!
I had a great time running lights at MAGStock last weekend. I built 40 mapped LED bars for it and they worked beautifully! Unfortunately I had to keep the brightness down to 30% to avoid ground noise distorting the control signals. I’ll have to try differential signaling next year.
Convention operations day #4120 In order to ensure our staff get fed, today I am reverse engineering our pancake machine to defeat the DRM the manufacturer imposes on the batter supply. I just finished designing and ordering a replacement mainboard that should let us run with our own batter.
