Interesting to see that a suite of policies supporting child birth CAN actually have dramatic results by including not just cash support and parental leave, but organizational/cultural trust and automatically hiring replacement staff too. biz.chosun.com/en/en-it/202...

The main pathways to increasing the intention to have children differed by life cycle. For single employees, improved work immersion through non-cash policies had the greatest effect; for married employees without children, trust in organizational culture; and for married employees with children, support for work-life balance.

And it's so cool that #ChillinByTheFire supports GameShare online or local, Switch 2 or with original Switches! I can't wait to play this with my brother and nephew soon one evening since they can play with me just off my single copy!

Being grown up is a curse. I want to throw one of these on and run around the park SO BAD.

What fresh level of #duolingo hell is this?

A screenshot of the animated owl mascot of the DuoLingo app from after a level is cleared, but instead of an owl it's a green unicorn horse body with toeless orange nubs for feet, a pink horse tail, a pink unicorn horn with a rainbow above it, and the owl'a head grafted onto the body. The transmogrified mascot has turned it's head to the viewer with a scrunched face which contextually should be an expression of approval, but the overall vibe of the chimera may strike the viewer as unnatural and unsettling.

Had to prove to myself I could still get 1st place if I put in the work! This is actually the second time I topped the Diamond league, but the first time I took advantage of new mechanics after Duolingo made a big change to the scoring and before everyone figured out the new meta.

Duolingo tallying up the actual words I've "learned" is a good feeling. For the life of me I can't recall what those 1079 words are, but it's a nice simple metric to enjoy going up.
