Massive aquarium, 3ft long and 1ft high and 1ft wide, with lots of hidey holes, fake plants, and ancient ruins, could have like 30 tiny fish in here

One tiny fish in a bucket, the last survivor of a mysterious apocalypse. The utter fish didn't die, and I don't think they were eaten unless he ate them completely because I never found body parts, but one by one they slowly vanished. The last two to go were catfish, including one 3x the size of Little Fish, so I don't think he ate them. I think it was aliens.

An old man is walking along a beach, alone, and looks back. In the far distance, at the start of the beach, he can see three sets of footprints, then one, then two, then four, then two, and finally one set.

“God,” the man asks. “Why all the different amounts of footsteps?”

“At the start of your life,” God says, “your parents walked with you. Then you set out on your own. Then you met your partner. Then you had your own children. Eventually, they set out on their own. After that, it was just you and your partner, and now it is just you.”

“Then you were never with me?” the old man asks God, “because you never left a footprint.”

“I am the sand and the sea, and the sky above you. I am the blazing sun and the cooling wind, and every rock and pebble and fish and bird.
