Designer Penny chose two of her favourite pieces in 2025 for Pollocks Toyshop since she’s designed every one of their new Paper Theatres. One was the rather eccentric 'Dancing Marquess' with illustrations from Lukas Palumbo, the other 'Tableaux', a collaboration with New York illustrator Tug Rice.
Risograph Printer Sam chose the Seasonal ‘Fruit and Vegetable Guide’ from Studio Forest for his Twelve days of Calverts. It’s a beautifully illustrated visual guide of what to eat throughout the year, so that you are eating seasonally and sustainably, with each season in different Riso colours.
For his Twelve days, press minder Neil chose a zine by fellow Arsenal fan Dan Evans, entitled “Sometimes Maybe Good”. The round cut corners are a nod to the 90’s football trading cards that inspired it, the content celebrating some of the most bizarre managerial appointments in football history.
Our firecracker of finance Roxanne chose love for 2025, in the form of a publication celebrating and chronicling 10 whole years of Choose Love, who support refugees & displaced people globally. It was digitally printed in full colour, perfect bound, with a debossed gold foil to the front cover.
For her fave job of 2025, production powerhouse Katie chose LRB 45s, a handmade box-set from London Review of Books @lrb.co.uk containing three 7-inch singles and an accompanying 40-page photographic booklet in a numbered, limited edition of just 360, to mark the paper’s 45th anniversary.
Joantoni, Calverts’ production co-ordinator extraordinaire, chose the work we did for “The Word for World: The Maps of Ursula K Le Guin” for his favourite job of the year, and more specifically the poster to accompany the exhibition on display at the Architectural Association school in London.
Production pro Cherry’s favourite job of 2025 was the official print of Kneecap’s Wembley gig back in September. Offset Litho printed in five spot colours, including a fluorescent Green, shown off here by a UV light we just happen to have kicking about the office!
Marcus, our offset print minder, chose ‘XXV’, a book celebrating 25 years of the International Network for Traditional Building, Architecture and Urbanism. The publication was printed in CMYK four-colour offset litho process and bound in sections with an exposed thread spine.
For his Twelve days, Arthur chose a personal project. Randomly found on Oasis' instagram, Arthur says “It’s a picture of my friend’s son, taken by an unknown photographer at Wembley Stadium. He’s a big Oasis fan and I think this image captures his love of the band perfectly.”
For his fave job of the year, Calverts repro master Jason chose the Athlyn 2026 calendar, designed by SM Studio, to celebrate and promote the Floral design service. The arrangements were all shot on film and every page is perforated so can be removed as a print or to make you own custom book.
Angie’s pick for our Twelve days of Calverts was the ‘Unseen Camden’ map which was designed by Calverts, Riso printed by our in house Riso printer DRUK and was produced as part of the London Festival of Architecture accompanying an installation in the heart of Camden Heart Street.
Beginning with our press minder Alan, for his favourite job of 2025, he chose the Robin and Rowan Garland from the wonderful Cambridge Imprint. This gorgeous pack contains die-cut decorations, printed offset litho in three spot colours, housed in a custom-made wallet, designed by Calverts.
We've been printing these pocket sized Hanuman Editions since their inception a couple of years ago, and here are some photos of the second series. This box set, similar to the other sets, collect six books of contemporary, avant-garde literature from authors and poets both past and present.
