Been working on making a Deku Tree planter, using a 3d printed mesh as the form, used as the base form replacing a wire mesh, impregnating it with concrete mortar, and put the final parge coat on today, next comes painting and sealing
So ive got a zimaboard 2 that they send over, going to be doing some klipper shennanigans with it, but also picked up a 60$ tesla p4, not quite sure what im going to do with it outside of some LLM faffin about, any other suggestions?
Some room for improvement thats for sure, while the coveralls with velcro/clips hold everything in place now pretty well vs the old rig i tried last year, going to have to remove some stuff around the knee joins, too limiting in movement and too much rubbing. So dremel time!

REALLY happy how well this turned out, Shroud from #DispatchGame mask printed on the @prusa3d.com C1L in some @polymaker.bsky.social PET-CF17, taped in some eye mesh for a quick test fit and threw on a hoodie for a pic, this is gonna look great once painted w/ LEDs
Got around to getting the Ez8 Decal`d up, also learned im not a fan of dry transfer stickers lol Need to get my hands on some panel line markers still.

beep boop the nice thing about big printers, less seams to clean up in post processing, the entire body and dome of this astromech is only 4 big prints still got tons to go though, legs, greeblies and other stuff, back to it
not the most elegant solution, but it works and i had the stuff on hand already. LED lights and back panel installed with a bowden slot on the ventureXL Waiting on Insulation panels to come in for the top and sides Cheers to all who joined the stream this evening!

That`ll do Couldnt find a BTT ebb 36 Gen 2 mount for the orbiter v2, so a bit of CAD (and only 2 revisions) later, modified a stock a4t one to work Will install on the friday stream, still need to mill some stock off the carriage too
DOME So. note to self, be sure to dry the CF-PETG THOROUGHLY before starting a 2.5kg, day and a half print with it and not just do a quick test print and go "ehh, should be fine" But other than some ooze boogers to clean up, the R6 astromech dome came out pretty good.
ya i gotta get around to finishing my t45 suit, got the helmet, pistol and ripper done along with most of the lower body armor peices, need to finish the upper stuff and put it all together
