Posted this on the other site. It's a rough draft. The tier drops by position are not equal. It's a much larger drop for point guards than it is for centers and shooting guards. SG is arguably the deepest position. The PFs are underrated. Lots of athletic wing projects.
The top half of this list did a solid to excellent job during the NBA draft combine. About all the guys I really like now seem out of range at 55. The name not included is Neoklis Avdalas. Sure, he's a project player from Greece; 6'8, triple threat skills, plays PG for Greece. He did well too.
These turned out absolutely amazing. Thanks again @purehoop.bsky.social!
I was so enamored with Lotus that I didn't much care for the Porsche 959 next to it. No more Cars and Coffee at Aliso Viejo.
I figure people want to see the player measurements from their respective draft year.
Basically, this is a "recovery trade" for what Nunn couldn't provide but Rui could. Now it's been two years with Rui approaching his prime, and we've seen what he can do.
Unusually great shooting percentages across the board for all distances. That's outlier great shooting. Not super high usage and more than double the Assist rate and TO rate anyway.
I was thinking about Reaves more as a combo guard, not a primary initiator for a playoff team. I'll be happily wrong about that, as long as he keeps up the Nash-level activity and continues to seek and create advantages with constant movement.
If I was LAL, I'd look for a definitive backup PG. If LAL was willing to waive a player and sign a player, this list from Hoopswire may show that it's easier to fix than other positions.
I think the Grizz FO understands that you can get 1st round talent into the 2nd round. It's been happening for years. See also, Jaylen Wells this year, picked at #39. The perceived talent tier for late 1st to mid 2nd has been roughly the same for maybe 6 years now?
Considering his usage level, Shake Milton's shooting percentages across several sectioned distances, have been excellent this season.
