I would add that it didn't seem to do him any harm. Here he is, at the age of 18 and a half, 6+ years after we got him.
It's really important to preserve mundane stuff like this. In the UK we had the 16T mineral wagon (shown below). Almost 300,000 built, and once so universal that it's hard to find a railway photo taken between the early 50s and early 80s without one. Then quite suddenly, they just weren't around.

Meet Razorback. Bashed together over the course of a manic, sleepless weekend, fuelled by tequila, caffeine, and cheese butties, with no budget, and zero practical sidecar experience. Attempted to kill me on several occasions but, fortunately, the Road Gods apparently enjoy a joke.
I'm 6'2" with longish legs too, and I drove one of these, quite comfortably, as my wet weather daily for 9 years.

OK. This is where I'm starting from. A bit odd, but it *was* free (shipping and handling charges may apply 😲).
