Time to play: Am I growing hybrid pepper plants, or am I cultivating weeds? What say you gardeners? I feel like they’re baby peppers because the bugs have eaten the leaves and they don’t usually bother with the weeds

Anywho, my younger sister and I spent a week in Cabo and teamed up with other single women at our resort a few weeks ago. May the men enjoy each other’s company as much as we women do. Cheers 🥂

My garden is stalling out and now I’m stumped. I think the super hot weather in May got things all discombobulated…but, the corn stalks have silk now. So, I’ll have ears of corn coming soon-ish
My mango tree gets to live outside this summer because it’s strong enough to withstand winds. It seems to be happy with the change and is growing new leaves
Picked some kale to add to my crock pot and surprise update: the acorn squash plant is spreading and crawling with the corn climbing as high as an elephant’s eye
That’s the beginning of a corn cob starting to grow! Now, I’ve just got to stay ahead of the chipmunks
I’m always so surprised by how my garden reacts after a few days of rainstorms. My irrational jealousy that they have a glow up and my day is ruined when we get caught in the rain. Anyway, here’s my acorn squash showing off and showing out

Yo, I didn’t know snake plants bloom! I’ve had this plant for more than 5 years, I’ve separated it and given away offshoots a few times. Now, I think it’s going to flower
1. Feed the troops 2. Stop the spread on contagious illnesses 3. Reward honorable service 4. Instill discipline That’s basically the rules for maintaining a military for a few centuries, how are we doing? Not great
The other thing I have to tackle, wild grass infiltrated the corn and idk what to pull and I’m going to have to wait a while for the imposters to show themselves. The potato plants are starting to bloom, so they seem to be progressing well
Because I was out of town, I couldn’t trim my kale plants. They have exploded in blooms that I’d ordinarily control. Upside: the garden is booming with pollinators
I think about the little girl who is off-camera in this video sometimes and crack up, I hope she’s living her best life
My dog, who is trained and well-behaved, is not allowed to lick in the face. After this much time apart, she broke the rules…consequences be damned. She’s still the best girl
