The lake pigment making bug really hits hard.

Tiny little moth friend I found this morning sitting on my shirt. I'm not very versed in moths. @lycomorpha.bsky.social can you ID this little fella?

A pretty warm grey from a second extraction of henna and avocado skin.

Pigment Experiment: Avocado skin. A really cool dark red.

Onion skins make for a beautiful warm green.

Here theystarted that with the park green outsode my place, and it's the best thing ever. Now I just need crickets and grasshoppers to live here.

More pigment experimentation. Avocado skins make a really nice deep red. Henna turns to olive green (pitty the liquor was beautifully orange). Powdered neem extracts to a nice yellow green. Mixed onion skins gave a rich dark olive. The pink is from leftover Rit fabric dye solution.

Experimenting with plant pigment. Various pink and purple petals turned out a dark forest green. Some yew tree bark seems to turn into a nice chocolate to chestnut brown.

Making pigment from scratch is a mess and takes forever. But damn is it cool to see it come together! #crafts #skilltreeunlock #noai
