Ran Star Wars: Edge of the Empire last night, we're about 25 sessions in this year, and the characters are on an operation for the Rebels that is canon adjacent (not that they know that). It's been a lot of fun, and all coming to a head. Will be interesting to see how the next few sessions go!
Finished Network Effect, by @marthawells.com , love the Murderbot books, and this one is good. Kind of switching up the Murderbot rescues x, with all of the appropriately confused emotional responses (or, no, just squash it down) that might bring.
Played 3 Sisters today. A fun roll and write with lots of knock on effects that can be chained together. Good game.

When I was writing for the Infinity RPG by Modiphius, I spent a ridiculous amount of time researching microwave beam attenuation for a couple of paragraphs about how a planet in the universe exploits their upper atmosphere to control communication between the surface and low orbit.
Started a new campaign of Fate Accelerated with my local game group, using Masters of Umdaar. Was expecting some he-man vibes going in. The characters are a half slug half shark, a chameleon with wings, and a tortoise martial arts expert in the art of defense. It's going to be interesting...
Went to the local game con I helped found last weekend. Saw a bunch of peeps I haven't seen for a while, and played a bunch of games. I had a blast. Games played include Forest Shuffle, Karma, Res Arcana, Dungeon Lords, Karma, 7 Wonders, Nemesis Retaliation, among others. Was a great event!
Played Gruntz, by Carter Scott, today. Was a lot of fun! A simple little game that reminded me of something like chequers or chess, but with a bunch of variation in what you choose to deploy, and how you fit out your vehicles. Solid game that didn’t outstay its welcome!

Ran Corsairs, my game of sky ships and floating islands, last night. The characters brought their sloop down, hidden in darkness of the night and by the distraction they had planned. Then rolled insanely well in a broadside raking shot through the aft of an enemy frigate. A devastating attack.
Necromunda. I haven't played Blood Bowl yet, I'm still finishing painting my second team. I've played Oak and Iron a few times, and would like to play more. But Necromunda is the one I've played the most thanks to a league I was part of at the local hobby shop.
Finally up-to-date with my notes for the two campaigns I’m currently running. I realised last night that I’ve been running both campaigns for over a year and a half. One of my notebooks is nearly full. It’s been a good time!
Played a learning game of Warmachine at a games day today. Was good fun! Looks like I have a new game to start collecting.
Really enjoyed ‘The Faith of Beasts’ by James S A Corey. A good read with lots of fun twists and turns. Thoroughly enjoyable!
I bought a couple of the new cheaper Games Workshop painting handles. Would not recommend. One broke when I first tried to put a mini into it - a GW base. The other one didn’t break, but puts so much pressure on the base it bends it. #gamesworkshop #minispainting #donotrecommend
