Our march to the Indy No Kings protest we paused by this highly relevant monument.

Monument says "Here Feb 11 1861 Abraham Lincoln on his way to Washington to assume the presidency in an address said "I appeal to you to constantly bear in mind that not with politicians, not with presidents, not with office-seekers but with you is the question: shall the union and shall the liberties of this country be preserved to the latest generations?"

We have canceled our subscription to Disney Plus, and are encouraging others to do so. We are boycotting Disney and ABC until they fight back against frivolous lawsuits and FCC threats from the authoritarian Trump regime. Don't show us shows about heroes and then act like cowards.

Too elaborate for a Labor Day protest sign, but worth sharing again.

This is what happens when businesses are not regulated. I'm sure nobody _wanted_ the Cuyahoga River to catch on fire. But it just cost too darned much to dispose of all that waste anywhere but the river. And we can't compete in the market if we spend more on waste disposal than our competitors.

The true "Gulf of America" is the gulf between the rich and the rest of us. Yet the Republicans' "Big Beautiful Bill" cuts taxes for their rich campaign donors by destroying benefits and protections for the rest of us.

The richest 1% of Americans have a third of America's wealth, while the poorest half have only 2.5%.
