The absolutely insane format that is Rock Band 3 Pro charting. Pro Guitar/Bass handles frets by velocity, so a note with a velocity of 101 is first fret. There's labels for chords, slides, and much more. They practically made their own notation system. Huge respect to the devs that pulled this off.
yet another audio manufacturer going from being one of the most trusted names to selling garbage like outdated stem separation that's just a GUI for old demucs. even at $19 this is horrible for the results you'll end up getting.
the "acoustic" guitars are actually my main strat going through one of those acoustic simulator pedals
i'm pretty sure my ability to sit down and make music is directly tied to the weather. so glad we're finally getting warm weather in chicago.
The screenshot, thanks to @kevinthetanqw.bsky.social . Make sure you Save Settings and that it finishes before unplugging it and plugging it into the Wii.
(2/3) Those Guitar Hero guitars could also be used with a community made adapter (by @retrocultmods.bsky.social ) and without hardware modding. The adapter would spoof a Rock Band guitar, even though you'll be using a Guitar Hero guitar. shop.retrocultmods.com/products/v3-...
(1/3) The one on the right seems to be a Rock Band 2 Stratocaster which uses one of the white guitar dongles with a black sync button. The Rock Band 1 guitar dongle has a white sync button and is not compatible. Finding that dongle might be either tricky or expensive but they're great guitars.
Yep! Right now, Overcompensate and Backslide are outdated versions without stems+crowd but they will get updated when the whole album is finished. Only Snap Back won't have crowd audio since it was never played live. I usually get 5 to 8 crowd videos, clean them up, then (tediously) sync them up.
Damon Albarn! Release a Plastic Beach Atmos mix so I can get stems out of it to chart the entire album for Rock Band 3 with Pro instruments and my life is yours!
