I remember as a kid thinking all those maps were meticulously drawn by the authors themselves. Now I know if there is a map drawn by the author it probably looks more like this. I'm sure there are many, many exceptions and I'm definitely not talking about myself here. 👀😬

I spent I don't know how many hours playing this as a kid. On computer with 5 1/4 in floppy disks. It took me ages to beat the final emcounter against Tyranthraxus, and I still remember how I beat him.

Boy, 2025 was a year wasn't it? I wrote the first drafts for two novels, the first draft of a novella, and worked on drafts on a couple of existing works. Lots of words written. Some of them were OK. Goal for 2026 is to fix a lot of those words, write some short stories, and query, query, query.

I just learned how big wombats are and I am not okay. I always assumed the were like the size of a groundhog. I can't credit the photo, it was from a reddit post from four years ago, but apparently they're about a meter (3.3 feet) long and between 25 and 40 kg (55 to 88 lbs).
