I remain somewhat sympathetic to this list from a Greatful Dead lyricist:

25 Principles of Adult Behavior:

dinner from the slow cooker because it's been way too hot

bowl of white bean chicken chili, made with pressure cooked great northern beans, bone-in skin-on chicken thighs, the peppers that were in the fridge, the half-used portions of salsa verde and hatch chile salsa that were in the fridge, and a bag of frozen corn.

warming up the food we made ahead so as not to have to heat up the house this week - yum

shredded beef in the slow cooker, seasoned with chiles and tomatoes and tomatillos, makes tacos and quesadillas for days. Salsa is homemade from homegrown dried cayennes, roasted with storebought poblanos/ onions/ garlic/ tomatillos, and blended. this is two soft tacos with cilantro, diced red onion, queso fresco, sour cream, and salsa.

I ought to be just about finished with this since surgery was March 9th.

"Studies indicate that tensile strength for Maxin and Macin CV sutures is approximately 80% of the original suture strength at one week post implant. Approximately 75% of the original suture strengh remains at two weeks, 65% at three weeks, 50% at four weeks, and 25% at six weeks post-implant. Absorption of Macon and Macon synthetic absorbable sutures is minimal until about the sixtieth day after implantation. Absorption is substantially complete within six months."
