i've been thinking about love

in the background, two dozen eggs from Sarah at Enchanted Acres. in the foreground, two triangular blue plates on a wooden cutting board, one smaller than the other. they're made by the ceramicist Marc Jeannin. a baguette baked by (CIA alum) Lucy of Kismet is sliced and smeared with butter on both plates. the smaller has a dollop of peach jam by Kelly at Clover & Thistle Apothecary on the end of one slice. The larger has a slice of mortadella folded atop one slice, while the other is slathered with the peach jam and topped with a line of minced preserved lemon.

along the outer rim of each plate is a fan of cleanly bias cut cucumber grown by Alec & Valerie of Armadillo Gardens.
